Thompson Pump’s exclusive OVT (oil-less vacuum technology) dry priming pump provides 97 cfm for rapid priming and includes the exclusive Enviroprime System® that eliminates product blow-by. The OVT is a multi-purpose pump that can be used on most construction sites. The centrifugal pump end is designed with efficiency in mind for improved fuel economy and the ductile iron components add a longer life.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
As the claws of the oil-less vacuum pump rotate, the vacuum produced draws air from the centrifugal pump and suction line to automatically prime the centrifugal pump. The Enviroprime System® chamber connected to the suction of the pump directs the air to the oil-less vacuum pump and prevents any fluid from entering the oil-less vacuum pump or discharging onto the ground.
