HEADER PIPE

  • 6in Thompson Style Header Pipe

    Used to direct ground water to the pump. The Thompson style header pipe includes a valve to adjust the flow of the system.  Available in 6” diameter pipe.

    Specs: 20’ long x 6” diameter, schedule 40 PVC, six valves are drilled and glued into the pipe at 3’ intervals.

  • 8in Thompson Style Header Pipe

  • 6in Grommet Style Header Pipe

    The header pipe is used to direct ground water to the pump. The rubber grommet fits into the 6” header pipe to create a seal between the header pipe and the swing joint.

    Specs: 20’ long x 6” diameter schedule 40 PVC, six grommets are drilled into the pipe at 3’ intervals.  

  • 8in Grommet Style Header Pipe

    The header pipe is used to direct ground water to the pump. The rubber grommet fits into the 8” header pipe to create a seal between the header pipe and the swing joint.

  • Economy Wellpoint

    The PVC 1.5” economy wellpoint is the industry standard for dewatering due to its light weight, durability, and affordability. Utilized in conjunction with punches or stingers and applicable sand filter packs, the economy wellpoint is compatible with a wide range of soils where groundwater needs to be controlled.

    Specs: 3’ long x 1.5” diameter, schedule 40 PVC with 0.016” slots on three sides of the pipe.

  • Economy Wellpoint With Riser

    The PVC 1.5” economy wellpoint glued to 20' riser pipe is the industry standard for dewatering due to its light weight, durability, and affordability. Utilized in conjunction with punches or stingers and applicable sand filter packs, the economy wellpoint is compatible with a wide range of soils where groundwater needs to be controlled.

    Specs: 3’ wellpoint screen, 23' schedule 160 PVC x 1.5” diameter, schedule 40 PVC with 0.016” slots on three sides of the pipe.

  • Premium Wellpoint

    The premium PVC wellpoint offers a built-in drop tube on top of the features that the economy wellpoint has to offer. This built-in drop tube routes groundwater to the bottom of the wellpoint to allow for maximum drawdown regardless of screen exposure above the water table.

    Specs: 3’ long x 1.5” diameter, schedule 40 PVC with 0.016” slots on three sides of the pipe.

  • Premium Wellpoint with Riser

  • GAT Wellpoint

    W70-WPT-GAT-1.5

    The GAT wellpoint is PVC with a drop tube and with its flat bottom makes it capable of self-jetting. Suitable for a wide range of soil conditions where groundwater control is a must, the GAT wellpoint is well balanced option for durability and affordability. Its built-in drop tube routes groundwater to the bottom of the wellpoint to allow for maximum drawdown regardless of screen exposure above the water table. This inner drop tube also reduces dissipation of pressure through the screen, which allows for a more effective jet when utilizing the self-jetting feature for installation.

    Specs: 3’ long x 1.5” diameter, schedule 40 PVC with 0.016” slots on three sides of the pipe. 

  • Steel Wellpoint

    W70-WPT-STL-1.5I

    The 2” self-jetting steel wellpoint features the toughest material construction to match the toughest soil conditions. Its durable construction allows for prolonged use on longer term dewatering projects as well as reuse capability over multiple installations. Its built-in galvanized steel drop tube routes groundwater to the bottom of the wellpoint to allow for maximum drawdown regardless of screen exposure above the water table. This inner drop tube also reduces dissipation of pressure through the screen. The drop tube and aluminum thrust generating head allows for a more effective jet when utilizing the self-jetting feature for installation.

    Specs: 3’ long x 2” diameter, schedule 40 PVC with 0.016” slots on three sides of the pipe surrounding the galvanized steel drop tube.

  • Wellpoint Clay

    W70-WPT-CLAY

    Used to patch and seal minor leaks or cracks in various parts of the wellpoint system, such as cracks in a header pipe, sealing the base of a swing to the valve. Available in 2-pound blocks.

RISER

  • PVC Riser Pipe

    The 20-foot PVC pipe is used to lengthen the wellpoint to achieve a desired depth.

SWING JOINT

  • Swing Joint

    Swing joint made of clear flexible PVC hose reinforced with a white helix that connects the riser pipe to the header valve assembly. This is used with Thompson style header pipe.

    Specs: 3’ long x 1.5” diameter with a large end to fit in the Thompson Header Valve and small end connect to the riser pipe.

  • Ball Valve Swing Joint

    W70-SWING-1.5X3BV

    Swing joint made of clear flexible PVC hose reinforced with a white helix that connects the riser pipe to the grommet in the header pipe.  This is used with grommet style header pipe.  The integral ball valve allows for control flow of air and water to the header pipe from the wellpoints.

    Specs: 3’ long x 1.5” diameter with the same size ends.

HEADER PIPE SUPPORT

    The bracket supports the header pipe using a vice that attaches to the steel riser pipe. This helps stabilize the system installation.

JET

  • Jet Fitting

    The steel jet fitting assembly attaches to the water source via the elbow, and then to a self-jetting wellpoint, where the water is pressurized through the tip of the wellpoint itself.

  • Jet Punch

    W70-2704-021

    The steel jet punch is used for installing wellpoints into soft clay and sand. The punch head is attached to a bucket on an excavator or backhoe. Then a hose is connected to a pump to use as a water source.  The water goes through the shaft of the punch and forces the water in to the tip of the punch to create a hole for the wellpoint and riser.

  • 6in x 23ft Jet Casing

    The 6in x 23ft jet casing is used for installing wellpoints in cohesive soil conditions, such as hard pan, hard clay and course rock, which allows sanding around the wellpoint to provide maximum flow to the pump.
