Thompson Pump Announces 2006 Office Management Award Recipients

 

PORT ORANGE, Fla. (November 1, 2006) – Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc., held their annual Office Operations Workshop and awards ceremony October 25-27, at their corporate office in Port Orange, Fla. More than 20 key office personnel attended from 19 branch locations across the United States. The three-day workshop included training sessions on standard operating procedures, human resources, product introduction, intercompany billing, credit operations and accounts receivable, accounts payable, vehicle fleet management, warranty issues, new pump sales and customer service. 

<br><br>Thompson Office Management award recipients include Kathy Jackson, Jacksonville office manager, chosen as Office Manager of the Year, Connie Packard, Fort Myers office manager, awarded Best Customer Service, Jasmine Yeager, Kansas City, KS, office administrator, awarded Best Operational Skills and Nichelle McGirt, Savannah, GA, office assistant, chosen as Rookie of the Year. Jackson, a four-year Thompson Pump veteran, received top honors for her outstanding thoroughness and organization.

<br><br>Thompson Pump also recognized the years of outstanding and excellent service that Kathy Coor, Goldsboro, NC, office manager, and Kathy Ward, Jackson, MS, office manager/gulf region coordinator have provided by setting the bar for the rest of the branch office staff. Each has received the award in the past; we have given this award out to others to give everyone a shot at winning it. 

<br><br>“Both Kathy’s could each easily be awarded with the Office Manager of the Year award each and every year,” said Seliga.
